Comfort Trumps Fashion: Morning Walk Attire

A glorious spring day for an early morning walk in Ottawa.
Wanted to get out there ASAP.
Ended up wearing my white UV sun hat, fuzzy red winter gloves and purple spring jacket.
No slave to fashion am I!
My neighbours kindly averted their eyes.
My dogs didn't notice anything unusual (love those furry friends).
I couldn't have enjoyed it more.

  1. Hey Tat, that's a nice outfit! I gave up cruel clothes after I retired from my office job. No more cruel shoes, or panty hose, etc. However, I do try to "dress up" when I go "downtown cuz all the beautiful women are hidden somewhere (maybe in offices?)

    1. Thanks! I hear you on the cruel clothes. The older I get the more I appreciate comfort though I have to say that the fuzzy, red gloves were a bit over the top for the spring. They did make me laugh though :))

Haven't been downtown in a while now so not really sure where the beautiful women are hidden. I'm guessing under a parka with a snorkle hood for most of the winter months ;)

    1. Hi Carole. Thanks for dropping by! I wouldn't worry too much about signing in, telling me who you are worked out just fine :)

  3. Hi Tatiana. This is Diane from Take A Hike in Thunder Bay. Glad to see your early purchases from our store are still being put to good use. Make sure you drop by next time you're out our way.

    1. Hi Diane! Thanks for dropping by the blog :)

Yes, we're still using & enjoying many things from Take a Hike that were purchased years (and years) ago. We'll be sure to go treasure hunting there the next time we're in TBay.

P.S. As I mentioned on Twitter, all the fashion faux pas (including pairing red, fuzzy winter gloves with a sun hat) are all mine :))
